Fern has been a member of the band 'Elephant in the Room' since 2013, featuring on one EP, and two albums, with a third due out in 2020! Roomers (2013), Songs About... (2016), The Difficult Second Album (2017).

Fern recorded lead and backing vocals on the original music soundtrack of Guardian Angels the Musical written by Chris Brindle. she also performed in the production, and co-wrote some of the songs. Fern will be performing in his new musical 'Sanditon' in July 2019 at 'The Other Palace', London.
