Fern Teather is a singer, songwriter, and guitarist from Suffolk UK.
She also makes up half of original indie-folk duo 'Dusky Sunday', whose debut single 'Oceans' reached number 10 in the official iTunes singer/songwriter charts in 2018!

Fern has been playing her own music all over the UK since 2013, and has released two EP’s and an album under her name. She’s played at many well-known venues and festivals including Cambridge Folk Festival, FolkEast, The Apex, and The Montreux Jazz Café in Harrods and has supported lots of renowned artists including Karine Polwart, Fairport Convention, Paper Aeroplanes, Angel Snow, and Bella Hardy.
In 2018 Fern and her partner Sam (who accompanies her music on hand percussion and backing vocals) evolved into the indie-folk duo Dusky Sunday, and are working hard on their first album with GingerDog Records!
Fern has provided lead and backing vocals on more than 15 EPs and albums, and has sung live backing vocals for many bands and artists. Her voice has been described as "pure and expressive" and can easily blend with any style of music. She has also played guitar on several releases and is known for her "intricate fingerpicked guitar style". Fern has also co-written songs with lots of artists for projects ranging from folk EP's to musical theatre soundtracks and has been praised for her "enchanting and infectious songwriting style". Fern loves creating music and always strives to make everything she works on the best it can be - whether it's her own music or just a small contribution to someone else's!
